Having gone through this, they are worse than car salesmen IMO
I took the three bid approach and told everyone that I wanted their best price. I think most of the products are pretty similar (unless you have a special need of sorts). I sat on the presentations for two weeks to see who wanted the business more and see who was going to come down on their price. I then got the "manager" call. I gave them a taste that I was interested, but indicated that it was a lot of money. I then got another "manager" call...that ended up being a much better deal and I signed with them. All went well with the install as well. My advice is get them in person to your property and have them measure etc. Look at the whole picture vs just the windows. If they install windows without the surrounding insulation, you just put holes around your windows....
